The parents of Zantedeschia 'Eyeliner', from Brighter Blooms, are ‘Red Sox’ and ‘Renoir’.
The flowers are nearly black in the centre, changing to purple at the outer margins. Aa very narrow yellow line right on the edge of the flower develops into a broader band of red as the flower ages.
It should be grown in free-draining good quality compost, in a sunny, sheltered location. Not hardy, store in a completely dry and frost-free location over winter.
It is being launched at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017 and entered into the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year competition.
