Naylor is a fourth generation manufacturer of ceramic products, having been founded as a clay pipe manufacturer in 1890.

The company’s Yorkshire Flowerpots division was set up in the 1980’s and offers British-made products with a lifetime guarantee against frost damage.

The Limetree acquisition follows Naylor’s 2013 purchase of Clough Mill, an importer of Malaysian glazed pots.

Limetree was founded in 2009 and offers wall pots and planters with Mediterranean hand-decorated designs, displayed on wall pot display carts.

Naylor divisional managing director Dave Cartwright said: "We are delighted to be able to add this unique range to our existing portfolio of high quality gardenware products."
