The Worshipful Company of Gardeners have worked with the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, at their The Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch in early April for the last few years, putting in a display to reflect the theme of the year and providing a retail opportunity for those attending the lunch.
Immediate past master Paul Rochford said: "Getting this out to the industry at a wider level may need some involvement at major trade shows like Glee, Grower of the Year and others or maybe finding suitable products to attach a small contribution to."
ABF's 2018 campaign, which does commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1, is called "2018: Every Soldier, Past and Present" and it marks the contribution of our soldiers and veterans from 1918 to the present day.
