Wilkinson trials click and collect for garden goods

Wilkinson is now offering an out-of-hours click and collect service and free wi-fi.

The 360-store hardware and garden retailer is trialling the format at its Crawley, West Sussex outlet. Customers can pick up orders after the store has closed until 8pm from an area at the rear of the shop.

For the first time, the new store has a Wilko logo rather than a Wilkinsons logo.

It is now retailing exotic plants at prices up to £50 for a sago palm and topiary up to £55 for a 120cm bay tree spiral stem.

Garden sheds are on offer from £110, while pots are 50 per cent off as are some items of garden furniture.
