Weevils found to be developing resistance to insecticide

Pea and bean weevils (Sitona lineatus), a common and damaging pest of vining and combinable peas, are developing resistance to pyrethroid insecticide sprays, prompting "urgent" studies at Rothamsted Research to understand the nature and extent of this resistance.
