Certis said disinfection is vital to contain the spread. The firm is currently marketing its product Jet 5, which contains peroxyacetic acid. Certis pointed out that although the rules on the use of this acid changed recently, it can still be used as a disinfectant.
The firm claimed that Jet 5 works quickly and can be used even when the crop is present. It also leaves no residues or contaminants.
