Wanted: more mole catchers

The British Traditional Molecatchers Register is looking for mole catchers to join the organisation.

Founder Brian Alderton, who runs Yorkshire mole catching operation Mole Control, is hoping to run training courses in 2008 and to promote, improve and advance the skills of the traditional British mole catcher, for the benefit of the public and agriculture.

Alderton says that Britain's 33 million moles are causing more problems to land after strychnine was banned last year.
