Vitax to launch fertilisers for growers in hard water areas

Vitax is launching a new range of the company's Vitafeed water-soluble NPK fertilisers, especially for growers in hard water areas.

Vitafeed Acid comes in three formulations, all containing magnesium and trace elements such as boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc, and is packaged (as is the rest of the Vitafeed brand) in 10kg tubs.

Waterproof and re-sealable, the tubs bridge the gap between the current 1kg and 25kg Vitafeed packs, and ensure that the product is kept fresh and free-flowing when not in use.

Greg Holden, recently appointed to head the re-vamped Vitax Grower division, is looking forward not only to the Vitafeed Acid launch, but also introducing Vitax's Q4 general granular fertiliser to a new generation of growers.
