Vast HS2 landscape maintenance tender issued

Engineering firm Effiage Kier JV is offering up to £10m for landscape maintenance works to support the high speed rail construction project.

Works for the landscape contract include the maintenance of 78 No parcels of land which are to be maintained whilst in the possession of the joint venture.

The works will include maintaining grassland, control of undesirable species such as weeds, hedge maintenance, pond maintenance (where applicable), checking for invasive species, maintenance of existing fences, ditches and public right of ways.

The contract starts March 2023 and be carried out over an initial period of 2 years over which time the value of works are estimated at between £5m to £10m

The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is 7 October 2022.
