Van den Berk releases e-tree guide

Van den Berk Nurseries has digitised its book Van den Berk on Trees.

The 880-page, 800-tree book is used as a reference by many parks managers, landscape architects and garden designers to select trees by characteristics and uses.

The e-book is searchable by name, category or characteristic.

Van den Berk has also taken part in research at Waginen University which ahs found the nursery has a positive CO2 effect compared to the CO2 emissions emitted through transporting trees to where they are to be planted.

Van den Berk is promoting  'swinging’ trees, which have a swing (bend) in the stem. Carpinus betulus ‘The Swing’ and Platanus acerifolia ‘The Swing’ are available in this shape.
