Upmarket retail units available at Bents site

Bents Garden & Home Warrington is to make a quarter of its planned 10,000sq m of new heated, covered space available to let.

Quinton Edwards director Simon Quinton Smith, who is acting on behalf of Bents, said: "We are already in talks with a number of upmarket retailers who are keen to take representation in what is probably the most exciting garden centre in the land. We are looking forward to making further announcements in the near future."

Some of the units have access directly from the 850- space car park.

Strong Christmas sales pushed growth up to five per cent for the 12 months to 31 January, at £13.5m.

Bents plans to expand its nursery and build a further 4ha of wildlife and ecological gardens. A children's play area is opening soon as well as a petting zoo.
