The exhibition was scheduled for April 8-10.
A show representative said: "Since last weekend, events in Ukraine have taken a dramatic turn with Russian troops moving onto Crimean territory and guarding Ukrainian army bases.
"The political situation between Russia and Ukraine & the International community tensioned and it remains to be seen what will happen next.
"In the recent weeks we have received numerous worried phone calls from exhibitors about the current situation and a number of participants have withdrawn their participation.
"Almost no Ukrainian company is interested to participate under the current circumstances and our Kiev office has sincere doubts about the number and quality of trade visitors to be expected. No visitors from Russia are expected at all.
"This, together with the present situation in Ukraine, has forced us to decide that our exhibition Flowers and HorTech Ukraine 2014 will not take place on the scheduled dates of April 8-10, 2014.
Organisers said they will be in touch about future dates.
