Two men are accused of receiving the stolen items but pleaded not guilty at St Albans Crown Court on Monday.
A two-day trial will take place on 16 February.
The products discovered included many small-value items such as a roll of Mypex, a collection of 50 pots and a couple of bags of compost with Carpenders' old labels attached.
Carpenders owner Abdul Bharmal said: "The burglaries were a real wake-up call for us. We now have better fencing and more CCTV and we make sure items are locked away. We realised we need to stock take more regularly."
