The site, www.tobybuckland.com, will offer a range of bare-root perennials and roses from November to February and container-grown plants all year round.
The bare-root method will allow Buckland's nursery, in the grounds of Powderham Castle in Devon, to sell varieties that are only available seasonally in pots, with lower prices and less packaging.
"I want to offer another option for the gardener," said Buckland. "Bare-root is how our grandparents used to garden, lifting plants from their gardens in winter and swapping with friends and family.
"Gardeners can take advantage of winter dormancy to plant the old-fashioned way, more economically and with less waste."
The website also hosts articles and video tutorials on growing bare-root and container-grown plants.
