Tickets go on sale for Kew Guild event

The Kew Guild is holding its annual dinner in Kew's Orangery on 21 May. Proceedings will kick off with a drinks and canapes reception.

Guest of honour will be Nigel Rigby, head of research at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. His particular interest is the voyages of Captain Cook, in which Joseph Banks participated.

Guild president Alex George said: "We look forward to the opportunity to renew old friendships, make new friends, catch up on news and support the current Kew Diploma students.

Tickets for members and their guests are £50 each and £25 for students. For more details, email events officer Paul Sadler at paulsadler 2000@yahoo.com.
