T&M discovered that the catalogues for those years were missing from its archive following a request from gardening writer Peter Seabrook for the 1913 catalogue.
Seabrook is helping to create four gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show next year. Each will celebrate a different era of the last 100 years.
He requested catalogues from 1913, 1938 and 1963 so he could choose seed varieties that had been available at each quarter century milestone.
Anyone finding a copy of one of the catalogues should contact the T&M press office.
