Thirty machinery brands represented at second MAP Live groundscare local demonstration day

Over 30 machinery brands were represented at the second groundscare local demonstration day by MAP Live which took place at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex, last week.

The event is one of a series of demonstration days with June events lined up for Haydock Park Racecourse on 5th, and Sedgefield Racecourse on 19th.

Jeff Walker from contractor Gavin Jones said of the Ardingly event: "The day has been brilliant, driving the Profihopper with a steering wheel makes it much easier to use. This is the first time on the Toro mower also but it looks a very good piece of equipment."

Andrew Billing, director of exhibitor Eco Green Composters said the firm had booked its place at the third demonstration day (Haydock Park) on the basis of results achieved at Ardlingly.

Among speakers at the event was Campey sales director Simon Gumbrill whose seminar outlined the benefits of end-of-season pitch renovation using the Koro Field Top Maker. He said: "Today shows the importance of local distributors supporting the event with global brands for equipment."

Entry to the events is free and can be pre-booked at
