Thieves set fire to garden centre

Thieves broke into Cheddar Garden Centre in Somerset on 13 December setting fire to offices causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

They entered through a hole they made in metal roofing but failed to find cash in the office.

Fire teams arrived at 4am and brought the fire under control at 6.20am.

The shop opened on time on 14 December and owners say that it is business as usual.
