Tesco drops Value grocery range

The supermarket giant is to drop its familiar Value range branding, in use for 20 years.

It will introduce instead a range called Everyday Value featuring more colourful packaging.

The new range will also focus more on British provenance, with tinned peas, beetroot and carrots 100 per cent UK-sourced.

According to Tesco UK marketing director David Wood:

"We have listened closely to what our customers want and Everyday Value will provide products that taste better, look better and are healthier – still at the same great price."
