Client: Cheshire west and Chester Borough Council

Location: North West

Contract duration: 19 August 2019 - 31 March 2020

Fabric District - Street tree planting, Liverpool

As part of the European Structural and Investment funding programme and the Liverpool City programme of city greening, The Mersey Forest has been awarded funding as part of a whole place low carbon project to plant 30 trees along Stafford Street in Liverpool's Fabric District.
This project is part of The Mersey Forest in Liverpool - www.merseyforest.org.uk

These trees will help to lock up carbon and reduce the impacts of hotter days on the use of air conditioning; the trees will also provide some shelter to the businesses in colder time of the year and reduce the risk of flood by reducing rainwater runoff.

Tender submission deadline: 02 August 2019
