The garden was designed by Amanda Waring and Laura Arison, built by Peter Gregory Landscapes and sponsored by Stonemarket and North Midland Construction.

The garden features layers of planting within a forest setting, creating a productive and sustainable environment that induces feelings of wellbeing and connection with the natural world.
Timber planters represent the 15 Maggie’s Centres across the UK, while swings and water bring calm and movement to the garden.

Maggie's centres are cancer care centres in memory of Maggie Keswick, the late wife of landscape architect Charles Jencks.

Best Elements Garden was See The Wind, designed by Joan Mulvenna & Andrew Lee. Best Summer Garden was Industrial Transitions by Caroline Lord.

Other gold winners were The Narrows, A Taste of Wythenshawe and Elemental.

Among 35 golds in the floral marquee, best exhibit was Pheasant Acre Plants. Best Plant Heritage Exhibit was British Cactus & Succulent Society. Best National Flower Bed Exhibit was Parish of St Helier. Preston City Council also won gold. Best Mini Bed exhibit was Cheadle & Marple College Network.
