Substantial arb contracts up for grabs in Sussex

Crawley Borough Council and Horsham District Council have jointly issued a tree maintenance and inspection services contract.

The tender is worth between £2,975,000 and £4,925,000, split between two separate lots, each with differing requirements and contract lengths. Bidders may submit a tender for one or both lots. 

Lot A: Crawley Borough Council - provision of tree maintenance services within the Crawley Borough, including planned maintenance as well as remedial and reactive work. The contract will will run for 5 years until 31 March 2027.

Lot B: provision of tree maintenance, remedial and reactive work and tree inspection services within the Horsham District. The contract will run for 6 years and 10 months until 31 January 2029, with an option to potentially extend by a further 2 years subject to performance.

The anticipated start date for both contracts is 1 April 2022.

The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is 24 September 2021.
