Staff facing unpaid leave

Trafford Council is proposing to force staff to take three days unpaid leave as part of emergency measures to reduce its budget.

It has to find £16m of savings in 2014-15, of which £13m are likely to be cuts. The council's 30 parks are looked after internally by its parks and countryside service.
