Squire's Garden Centres has unveiled a new restaurant at its Twickenham centre called the Squire's Café Bar.
The new Café Bar has been refurbished and expanded to extend its seating area. Pleydell Smithyman designed the £1m cafe.
Work started in November 2012 as part of the Twickenham centre refurbishment which includes new kitchens, seating areas and outdoor terrace. The centre has been refurbished and modernised throughout making way for an extended plant area.
A new menu includes Cajun Portabello Steak Burger and Chilli & Crab Linguine plus hot meals from children’s food expert, Annabel Karmel. The new bar also includes a more extensive drinks menu sourced by Ellis of Richmond.
"This is a fantastic development for our Twickenham Centre – especially as we’re celebrating my father’s 60 years in the industry this year," said Sarah Squire, Squire's deputy chairman. "Our restaurant was always popular but we’re now able to offer local customers an even finer selection of food and refreshments in a beautiful new environment."
