Springfield Festival Gardens to hold Bank Holiday flower show

The Springfield Festival Gardens will play host to the first Spalding Flower Festival over the May Bank Holiday on 2-4 May.

Among the many local exhibitors will be several RHS gold medallists including Yorkshire-based Devine Nurseries and Oak Tree Nursery, and Walkers Bulbs of Spalding.

The organising trust has also worked closely with local schools, which will be entering their own gardens for the show.

Spalding Flower Parade & Carnival Trust chairman Barry Drew said "This is an exciting new venture for our area. We have the opportunity to produce a spectacular event that spans the entire town and district."

Tickets are priced at £7 for adults, £6 for senior citizens, £3.50 for children and free for under-fives.
