A total of 112 exhibitors have signed up to take space at the show this year, compared with 73 in 2008, when the exhibition was held at Sandown Park racecourse.
The move to the nursery in West Sussex has proved incredibly popular, according to organiser Monro Horticulture's sales manager Kieran Daly. "It was nice enough at Sandown but the location wasn't ideal for people," he explained.
"We were organising a show and bringing people 50 miles over the other side of the M25. We were bringing people to the show rather than the show to the people."
Southern Growers is being held on 11 November and will include nursery tours of Roundstone and technical seminars, as well as exhibitor stands.
"We know there are an awful lot of people coming to Roundstone who wouldn't have come to Sandown," added Daly. "People will be very keen to look around."
