Solus in 'detailed conversation' with several potential buyers, administrator says

Solus, which went into administration on 21 May, is nearing a sale, says administrator PwC.

Joint administrator Tony Barrell said: "From the outset, we have focussed on securing a sale and have received expressions of interest from a number of parties.

"We have reviewed offers received to date and are now in detailed conversations with several parties. We are making progress and are hopeful of achieving a sale."

Solus has shed 91 staff with the closure of Tipton and West Bromwich warehouses, and expects further job losses with the closure of Edinburgh and Norwich regional distribution centres.
