The approval relates to the use of Dual Gold as a horticultural herbicide to control annual grasses and broad-leaved weeds in Begonia plots.
Applications should be made from 1 March to 31 May via conventional hydraulic sprayers in a minimum water volume of 200 litres per hectare.
Growers should test a small area before large-scale use.
Dual Gold contains the active ingredient metolachlor.
The maximum individual dose is 0.5 litres per hectare, the same as the maximum total dose.
It should be applied shortly after planting.
