Snack pots launched to meet demand for healthy eating

Sharpak Aylesham has launched a new snack pot to meet a surge in demand for healthy snacks such as tomatoes, berries and grapes.

Business development director Ruth Price said: "Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of nutritious food and snacking continues to gain in importance. These pots are gathering interest across Europe."

The range features a hinged pack and another with a separate lid. Both are designed for automated filling, have a pop-up pressure opening system and include ventilation holes. The hinge pack also has drainage holes, allowing the contents to be washed before eating.
