Smart Solar see 50 per cent growth in Europe

Smart Solar says it is experiencing 50 per cent export growth this year, on top of a similar rise in 2012.

The garden retail solar company has appointed Xavier Faure as European sales manager to support its strategy for growth across continental Europe.

He has been in the garden product business for 15 years, most recently representing a number of suppliers in the garden centre market in France and Germany.  He will be focussing on key accounts.

Founder Jonathan Stobart said: "To have a dedicated European sales manager with the network of contacts that Xavier has will only serve to further strengthen our sales growth in the continental market."

Smart Solar will be showcasing its new products at Spoga Gafa in Cologne (Hall 9, stand C024 from 8–10 September).
