Sinclair success in customer satisfaction survey

Sinclair Horticulture has welcomed the results of its yearly customer survey of retail customers shows a ranking of plus 38 when active 'promoters' are measured against active 'detractors' of the company.

When people with positive views are subtracted from those with negative views a Net Promoter Score, which is surveyed by Satmatrix, is arrived at.

Sinclair said: "This year’s score of plus 38 is a huge pat on the back for the company and an indicator that the gardening industry rates Sinclair extremely highly. A positive score is viewed as good, with +30 rated as very good and over 50 deemed to be exceptional."

Range, quality, availability and friendliness of staff were all highly scored by customers, who were asked to grade various aspects of business life out of 10.

Depth of range, product quality and people were seen as the key benefits of trading with Sinclair.
