Scotts Miracle-Gro opens stock dispatch warehouse

Scotts Miracle-Gro is to open Quattro, a 15,000sq m warehouse near Doncaster in South Yorkshire, on 7 December.

It has been designed "for the efficient dispatching of Scotts' range of control products", said a company spokesman. The warehouse is close to Scotts' Howden fertiliser manufacturing and Hatfield compost plant.

The lease from Valad Europe and Shepherd Development is for 15 years, costs £4.30 per square foot and is the final phase of the West Moor Park development.

Scotts will move its consumer business group, fertilisers and controls distribution service to Quattro, with a view to commencing stock dispatches in mid December.
