Sawtooth roofs no better for winter light, say Dutch researchers
Glasshouse roofs with diffuse glass in a "sawtooth" profile of large south-facing panes alternating with short verticals, are no more efficient at transmitting light to the crop in winter than traditional Venlo-type structures, new Dutch research has found.
