Royal Parks seeks contractors for tree surveys, investigations and advice

The Royal parks is looking for specialists to fulfil a four-year contract of tree assessment and advice across its estate of high-profile London parks.

It is putting together an Arboricultural Advisory Services Framework across its eight main parks and smaller green spaces across the city for the next four years, valued at £250,000 in total.

The parks "contain extensive tree stocks which, as well as being of high amenity value, are also of historic, cultural and ecological importance," the tender points out.

The work is divided into three lots, which can be bid for together:

  • Tree surveys and planning advice (£50,000);
  • Detailed tree investigations (£100,000);
  • Veteran tree surveys (£100,000).

Closing date for bids is 22 July 2019, with the contract due to start on 8 October.
