Rose breeder Robert Harkness dies aged 61

Robert Harkness, director of Harkness Roses, Hitchin has died from cancer aged 61.

His funeral will take place on Friday 16 November at Harwood Park Crematorium in Stevenage with family flowers only and donations split between Addenbrooke's Hospital Trust and the RNLI.

Harkness Roses of Hitchin is one of the UK’s oldest rose growers and breeders.
