Richmond Park considers improvements to Isabella Plantation

A consultation exercise has been launched by the Royal Parks to improve the 16ha Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park.

The Royal Parks is now hoping to make the area more accessible by installing better signage, upgrades to the paths, improved gates and better visitor facilities. They are also looking at the possibility of having a new cafe and upgrading the wheelchair service.

The organisation is also hoping to employ a worker to liaise with local charities, schools and user groups and to help develop walks, talks, volunteer schemes and other activities.
