The team at Villaggio Verde is "distraught" after having seven Olive tree specimens worth £10,000, reserved for their show garden at The RHS Malvern Spring Festival in May, stolen in broad daylight.
There is a reward for their recovery.
The trees were stolen at 12.30pm on January 27, from Ledbury, Herefordshire, and would have then travelled through one of the counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire or Worcestershire and onward to their new home.
They were loaded onto an open 40 ft flatbed trailer using an on-board forklift truck. The trailer was towed away with a blue Volvo truck sleeper cab truck.
The trailer was open and the trees had an unusual form and are not common in the UK.
Owner Jason Hales said: "I am devastated that someone has stolen these wonderful old Olive trees and we suspect they were stolen to order. The trees were to form an important part of a Royal Horticultural Society project at Malvern this year and we need them back."
The trees have a street value of £10,000 and are 100-200 years old.
