Retailers call for reduction in tax burden after Boris Johnson CBI speech
The corporation tax rate paid by firms on their profits was due to fall from 19% to 17% in April 2020 but Prime Minister Boris Johnson wants to delay for a year so the money can go to the NHS, he has told a Confederation of British Industry (CBI) conference.
