Duxburys Garden Centre in Whitestake, near Preston, wants to serve alcohol until 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and until 5pm on a Sunday.
It has also asked South Ribble Council for a premises licence for "live and recorded entertainment" from 9am to 10pm, Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
The centre currently closes at 5.30pm through the week and at 4.30pm on Sunday.
Its owners intend to host charity events, a nativity at Christmas and entertainment for customers such as concerts, race nights and talent shows.
They also asked if it could host outdoor activities including archery, wall climbing, French boules and paintball.
However, the council has received 14 letters of objections from residents about potential noise disturbance which may affect sleeping children, increased traffic levels, the impact on wildlife and crime and disorder, which they said was "inappropriate in a semi-rural area".
Neither Lancashire Police or the council’s Environmental Health department have raised any objections to the proposals.
The application will be heard by the authority’s Licensing Panel at the Civic Centre on July 25 at 6pm.
