Research matters ... vegetable grafting

The three papers referred to here come from a workshop on the topic of grafting vegetables for enhanced production and quality. It was held in the US, where the grafting of vegetables has never been widely practised even though it has considerable potential. Interest has been stimulated by bans on the use of methyl bromide as a soil fumigant in many situations.
