Record turnout for TGA Peterborough meeting

Turfgrass Growers' Association (TGA) saw its best ever turnout for a members' meeting recently when growers from across the UK gathered in Peterborough.

Chief executive Tim Mudge said: "Very important issues affect growers at the moment and the association is working hard to address them.

"With the current economic climate and the prospect of changes to EU pesticide regulation our meeting was very timely."

Speakers included Andy Cole from the STRI and Marcel Hoekstra from Clean Greens, who traveled from Holland to talk about UV crop protection against pathogenic fungi.

Training experts Jeremy Steele and Lindsey Byrne led a discussion on the main aspects of leadership in senior management.
