The West Midlands-based arboriculture and landscape business is looking after non-highways trees for Peterborough Council and street trees in Sheffield as part of a private-finance initiative headed up by infrastructure giant Amey.
Other big clients include the Forestry Commission and the Environment Agency. The firm has also won work with Midland Heart Housing Association and Wolverhampton City Council.
Managing director Kevin O'Rourke said: "Our reputation is our strong card. We also have an in-house health-and-safety team, which clients value, and a host of safety and management accreditations, most recently from RoSPA."
The 52-staff business has doubled turnover to £2.6m in four years. O'Rourke said he is looking to make inroads in the London area.
