The campaign is intended to guide gardeners to widely available plants that look good at that time of year. The plants are selected by the HTA ornamentals committee and retail management group.
Hortipak head of marketing James Buffoni said: "The materials provide a monthly focus to inspire customers and generate sales."
The HTA's director of marketing and communications Andrew Maxted added: "Hortipak has come up with cost-effective options to promote each month's plant selection including new banners and bench wrap."
The 2012 plants are primula, camellia, vinca, lavender, petunia, roses, dahlia, phlox, aster, heuchera, trees and winter stem.
