The design includes a roof terrace with a three-layered lighting scheme and planting. Plans also include tree planting along Dixon Street, on the northern façade of the new hotel and the rooftop sky terrace.
Plans also feature high-quality hard landscaping and a feature seating plinth at ground level, which a planning document describes as ‘a simple and elegant seating design along the length of Dixon Street’ which will create an informal meeting space and focal point where individuals and groups can gather. The seating and outdoor space will also be used by the ground floor hotel café and retail unit.
