Production stars shortlisted for the UK Grower Awards 2016

Horticulture Week is delighted to announce the names of the businesses shortlisted for the UK Grower Awards 2016 - the longest running and most prestigious awards scheme for the entire UK production horticulture industry.

The shortlist which includes production businesses which are up for single and multiple awards, and firms from which individuals have been nominated for awards, was selected from this year's crop of entries from leading UK ornamental, vegetable and fruit production horticulture businesses.

Shortlisted entries will now go on to the final stage which will see winners in each category selected by HW's team of expert independent judges at a final judging day to be held in central London in January.

This year's judges are Jack Ward, chief executive of the British Growers Association, AHDB Horticulture hardy nursery stock panel advisor and independent crop consultant John Adlam, Allium & Brassica Centre director Andy Richardson, AHDB Horticulture fruit expert Andrew Tinsley, Stockbridge Technology Centre chief executive Graham Ward and independent garden industry consultant Neville Stein.

The winners of the UK Grower Awards 2016 will be announced at an awards dinner and presentation to be held at London's Grand Connaught Rooms on 3rd February 2016.
