Phil Brophy and Andy Sherlock register with Arboricultural Association

Tree experts Phil Brophy and Andy Sherlock have become the latest consultants to be registered by the Arboricultural Association.

The men from Barrell Tree Consultancy started their careers as climbing arborists before taking tree-officer posts.

Registration was a "tough professional test" and proved that practical experience was "essential" to reach the top, they said.

The consultancy’s managing director Jeremy Barrell said: "We are the only tree practice in the UK to have five Registered Consultants.

"We invest heavily in our people and it is this calibre that enables us to consistently deliver top results."
