Phaidon publishes garden tome

The Gardener's Garden is a new book curated by an international panel of horticultural and gardening experts, drawing together a collection of 250 of the world's gardens by garden designers, horticulturalists and landscape architects.

 The gardens featured in The Gardener’s Garden have been selected by a panel of six experts: Ravindra Bhan (India), Madison Cox (USA), Toby Musgrave (UK/Denmark), Bill Noble (USA), Dan Pearson (UK) and Made Wijaya (Bali). 

Gardens featured include Inhotim designed by Luiz Carlos Orsini in Brazil, the modernist gardens of Thomas Church, such as the Pool Garden at El Novillero in California, the Renaissance gardens at Villa d’Este and the High Line linear park/walkway in Manhattan, New York City. Designers featured include Capability Brown, John Brookes, Sir Charles Jencks, Thomas Jefferson to Dan Pearson, Beth Chatto, Topher Delaney, Madison Cox, Piet Oudolf and Derek Jarman.

Gardens from Australia, UK, North America, Iran, Finland, Poland and Barbados are included.
