Pest & Disease Alert: Phytophtora found on Juniper

The Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA) has intercepted three outbreaks of Phytophthora austrocedrae on Juniper plants during March.

The first, was intercepted at a site in Durham on 15 March. A further two outbreaks were discovered in Cumbria on 20 and 26 March.

Fera is set to host an Open Meeting to report on its Phytophthora Disease Management Programme on 15 May at the University of Bristol.
