The open event is aimed at prospective students of all ages, at all study levels, whether they are leaving school or looking for an apprenticeship, part-time or higher education course.
Courses on offer include arboriculture, horticulture and animal welfare, with study options including apprenticeships, full and part-time courses and higher education. At the event, visitors can talk to current students and tutors, view facilities and find out more about college life. Student advisers can also offer confidential advice on careers and opportunities available.
The open day will be hosted in the new building before it is fitted out for students ready for them to move in a few weeks later. The £5.8m redevelopment has transformed the college with a new contemporary glass building housing a Collections House, teaching rooms and project spaces as well as a new library area.
