PATS trade show brings in new pets exhibitors

PATS (Pets and Aquatics Trade Show) latest signings for PATS 2012 include wholesaler Vital Pet Products, Hills Pet Nutrition, Tigga Towers, 3P Enterprises, Doggie Solutions and Outhwaites (Pets).

Exhibitors are increasingly developing ranges based primarily on premium quality ingredients from natural sources, organisers said.

Bern Pet Foods, Burgess Pet Care, Burns Pet Nutrition, Dorwest Herbs, Feelwell’s, Group 55, Igloo Pets, Lily’s Kitchen, Mr Johnson’s, Pooch and Mutt and Spike’s World are following this trend.

Burgess Pet Care returns to PATS with larger stands at both venues. Product highlights will include Burgess Supadog’s newly extended Sensitive range.

Marketing manager Naomi Chatterley said: "We will be supporting the range with a targeted trade and consumer support plan during 2012, and we see PATS as a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products to the trade. That's one of the reasons we'll have more space than ever at PATS 2012. By the Harrogate show in September, we will also be announcing some exciting new developments for some of our other brands, including Excel.’

Natural Dogs debut at PATS Sandown. Company proprietor Kim Harpur said: "We were recommended to take part in PATS by one of the leading pet trade magazines. Our products are available nationwide but Sandown is a particularly useful venue for us as it is near to our West London base. We’ve been involved in the pet industry for six years and are already well known in the United States but we want to use PATS to raise our profile in the UK and Europe. Our PATS focus will be on our NaturVet products; a range of natural products for dogs, cats and horses, designed by leading Vets using the best that nature has to offer."

Another new exhibitor to PATS 2012 is Pet Munchies. Representative Suzanne Rothman said: "Pet Munchies has already secured a place in the market for premium, natural dog treats. Our range has now been complemented with our new ‘Ocean White Fish for Dogs’ and we have also launched a new range of 100 per cent Natural Cat Treats. PATS offers a great opportunity for Pet Munchies to show the trade our full, exciting natural range for dogs and cats, first hand."

PATS takes place at Sandown Park, Esher on March 20-March 21 2012, and at Harrogate International Centre on September 16- 17 2012.
